In the past, our network performance testing methods were sustainable, and manageable.
We were testing the specific network features that would probably stay with us for next 6 months, and similarly we were testing the specific devices that would be running in the network for next 6-8 months as well. This was an easy task since we had good amount of test data to analyze the performance of these specific network features, and mobile devices.
Briefly, let me share my thought on the nature of testing.
Testing is a statistical method which means you need to perform the same test over and over again in order to support your hypothesis (if you get the same result)
So, for instance if you want to test whether a particular feature increases the network throughput by 30%, every time you test the network with this feature/under this feature, you should get 30%…
